The XL Catlin End-to-End is committed to providing a range of outdoor activities that appeal to the maximum number of participants, volunteer marshals, and spectators from all aspects of the Bermuda community.
Participants must sign up in advance; there is no onsite registration on event day. Advance registration will be held on the ground floor level of the new Washington Mall (18 Church Street) from May 1-5, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
End-to-End (ETE), 40km/24.1miles starts at 7 am at King’s Square, St.George
Middle-to-End (MTE), 24km/14.7miles starts at 10 am at Albuoy’s Point, Hamilton
Fun Walk, 5km/3miles starts at 2 pm at Beacon Hill (the old bus terminus next to Somerset Police Station and the Railway Trail). Sponsored by the America’s Cup! Free rides from Dockyard back to parking starting at 4 pm provided by Project Action.

For Elite Swimmers
The E2E swim returns to west end waters in 2017. Swimmers meet at Mangrove Bay at 10:30 for an 11 am start. Swimming is organised by the Bermuda Masters Swimming Association and is dependent on good weather conditions. The distance is 5km/3miles.
For Paddler Boarders
Start at 8 a.m. Location to be determined by weather. Please check in with Island Winds or their Facebook group for more details. As this event follows international SUP standards, everyone entering the paddle boarding event must use a safety ankle or calf leash; buoyancy vests are not required but are encouraged.
Start from White’s Island at 8:30 am. Please check in with the Bermuda Rowing Association for more details.
There will be special buses from Hamilton Bus Terminal to St George at 6:15 am for $5. Tokens are available at registration in the Washington Mall.
A special ferry will be available from Hamilton to St.George’s (leaving at 7:30) for $5 and bicycles are permitted. Spaces are limited and you must request a ticket for the ferry at registration. Only ticket holders will be allowed on the ferry.
Ferries between Dockyard and Hamilton will be free on event day for participants with an event number. Capacity of ferries: 350 persons. Ferry departure times from Dockyard: 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5pm and 5:30pm.
A special ferry will return from Dockyard to St Georges at 2.45pm, free for participants with an event number. This ferry is generously sponsored by the Corporation of St. Georges for our many End-to-End bikers and walkers.
At the Finish
IMPORTANT! As vehicular access into Dockyard will be restricted, we recommend that spectators use the ferry. Parking in Dockyard will be extremely limited. Cars traveling to Dockyard on event day will be redirected to Moresby Field where there will be free parking.
Sweeper vans will be provided by Open Airways to assist last-arriving participants with transportation to Dockyard.
