2010 Catlin End-to-End a Success!
The 2010 Catlin End-to-End was a success, with more than 2,400 participants plus hundreds of volunteers enjoying a day of physical challenge and community under sunny skies.

As in past years, our most popular event was the Middle-to-End walk, with more than 1,200 walkers strutting out of town to the west end. Next most popular was the End-to-End bike, with nearly 300 riders. Plus, close to 300 people walked the whole way from End-to-End.
The End at Dockyard was buzzing like never before as family and friends congratulated participants crossing through the M3 Wireless "Green Zone". Crowds enjoyed the open house at the Martime Museum, and stretched out on the grass to listen to the upbeat music from the Bermuda School of Music Steel Pan Orchestra and Friends of Chewstick.
Pledging will remain open on the www.bermudaendtoend.bm website for several weeks. At this stage, we are happy to note that charitable giving is strong, consistent with past years despite the challenging economy.
We always want to emphasise our thanks to our sponsors - especially Catlin and M3 Wireless. Their support takes care of the considerable costs of running the event, so that the money raised by our participants all goes to charity. And of course, we thank our hundreds of volunteers who come out on event day, many of whom have been pitching in for years.
A participant at the End yesterday said, "I love the End-to-End because it seems that day everyone you pass seems to be smiling. It is a real community event bringing out the best of Bermuda."
