Encouraging Adaptive Sport in Bermuda

For a decade, WindReach Recreational Village has played a strategic part in the Adaptive Sport movement in Bermuda. In partnership with the Bermuda Paralympic Association, WindReach recently hosted an Adaptive Sport Expo featuring three guest Canadian Paralympians:

  • Elisabeth Walker-Young, 2000 Sydney Gold Medalist (Swimmer)
  • Curtis Thom, 2004 Athens (Track)
  • Shelly Gautier (Sailer)

These athletes will join the WindReach team to roll or walk from Boaz Island Esso station into the finish line at Dockyard for this year’s event.
