End-to-End funds new hiking trails
Supports Bermuda National Trust project at Warwick Pond
The Bermuda National Trust is one of the recipients of funding from the 2008 Catlin End-to-End.
The National trust will use the funds to extend the popular hiking trails at Warwick Pond, on previously closed land to the south of the Railway Trail.
According the Kelly Way, development officer for BNT, "The Bermuda National Trust is thrilled to be a recipient of Catlin End-to-End funding for 2008. We are even more excited to be given the opportunity to fulfill our vision of creating a wonderful meandering walking trail across 13 acres of precious woodland and open space behind Warwick Pond."
"Our trail will be scattered with enjoyable and informative signage and will join two existing Nature Reserves and the Railway Trail. We encourage everyone to come out and support the tremendous Catlin End-to-End event and to come back in subsequent years to appreciate the fruits of our labour as we trail blaze across the End-to-End path in Warwick Parish."
You can see a map of the trails here.
