Funds raised in our 2012 event will support Age Concern, The Adult Education Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Open Airways, The Family Centre, St. John Ambulance, and YouthNet.

End-to-End partners with The Centre on Philanthropy

Linking volunteers with the Bermuda non-profit community
Bermuda's Centre on Philanthropy has launched the 'Bermuda Volunteer Centre' website to assist local charities in linking up with volunteers.
The Bermuda End-to-End was invited to participate in a pilot programme for the online volunteer centre, and we are working with The Centre to implement a new volunteer management progamme for this year's event.

The Centre on Philanthropy’s volunteer research study showed that 44% of Bermuda’s residents volunteer. The Centre's new Bermuda Volunteer Centre provides an online way to link volunteers with nonprofits, and to engage the entire island in the spirit of giving back.

  • NONPROFITS: Sign on to post your available volunteer positions, whether it’s for a one day community event, or a long-term need for administrative assistance. The Bermuda Volunteer Centre allows you to post your positions, recruit volunteers, and manage their participation.
  • VOLUNTEERS: Visit The Bermuda Volunteer Centre to search for available volunteer positions that fit your schedule and focus on an area you are passionate about. And even if you don’t see a volunteer activity you’re interested in today, the Volunteer Centre will alert you when an opportunity that’s right for you comes along.
  • EVERYONE: Promote Volunteerism amongst your clients, staff, colleagues, students, members and friends. Generate posters with available volunteer positions, or link to The Bermuda Volunteer Centre from your own website.

The Centre’s goal is to have over 50% of Bermuda actively giving time to the nonprofit of their choice. The End-to-End is proud to work with The Centre to reach that goal!
