Route Change for Elite Swim

Every year, thousands of people walk, ride, or swim across Bermuda to raise money for local charities.
This year, to safely accommodate our Elite Swimmers, the route has changed. The swim will start on the jetty on the south side of Watford Bridge, passing under the bridge and along the northern shore of Ireland Island, to finish at Snorkel Park (avoiding the heavy marine traffic in the Dockyard camber area). The distance is 3600 meters or 2.25 miles.
Swimmers should check in at 10:30 am at Watford Bridge (East Jetty) for an 11:30 am start. Note: swimming is dependent on good weather conditions.
