Fun Raising for Bermuda

Have fun while supporting Bermuda's good causes!

Funds raised in our 2010 event will support the Adult Education Centre, Alzheimer's Family Support Group, Bermuda School of Music, Chewstick Foundation, The Family Centre, Greenrock, Keep Bermuda Beautiful, The Reading Clinic, Sandys 360 Foundation, and Windreach.

2010 Thank You

The Catlin End-to-End raised $335,000 for 10 local charities in 2010.  Thank you to all our participants and their supporters!

Signups are Underway!

Sign ups are underway for the Catlin End-to-End on May 2.  Hundreds have already signed up and started gathering pledges with their own personal online Fun Raising Pages (see example here).

Sign up online here or in person at M3 Wireless.

  • Registration is $40 (or $50 on event day).
  • Online signups should pick up their goody bag, t-shirt, and number at M3 Wireless. Goody bags will not be available at the starts.

The M3 Wireless location, 3 Burnaby Street in Hamilton will be open from 9-5 from April 27-May 1 (late hours until 7 pm on May 29).

Remember that all pledges raised go to deserving Bermuda charities!

  • School teams in the Youth Invasion have no entry fee (but seek to raise $40 in pledges per participant). Bank of Bermuda Foundation matches all Youth Invasion pledges up to $10,000 and has $1,000 prize for best school spirit.
  • Top 4 pledge-raising adults and top 2 Youth Invasion participants win mobile phones from M3 Wireless.

Updated event details are here. The End-to-End takes place rain or shine!

Goodies

First 2,500 participants receive an event t-shirt, a goody bag from Guy Carpenter/Marsh, and a snack bag from Catlin at the finish.  Our sponsors and patrons provide water and refreshments at more rest stops along the route.

Transportation

  • Special buses from Hamilton Bus Terminal to St George at 7 am for $4.50.
  • 8:30am ferry will be available from Hamilton to St.George’s, at the price of $15 per person, for cyclists. Tickets are available at registration or as participant boards the ferry. Exact change is necessary.
  • Free ferries from Dockyard to Hamilton (on regular schedule) if you show your event number.
  • Sweeper vans will be provided by Open Airways to assist last-arriving participants with transportation to Dockyard.

Clean Fun

With more than 2,500 participants moving across Bermuda, the End-to-End is mindful to reduce the litter created by the event. All participants will receive a reusable water bottle from M3 Wireless, and Pure Water refills will be available at all waterstops. Keep Bermuda Beautiful (KBB) will clean up the route.

Thank You Volunteers!

The Catlin End-to-End is coordinated by over 500 volunteers from the community working as road and sea marshals, registration, money management, waterstops, start and finishes, route clean-up, event management, first aid and safety, IT support, participant care and comfort.
