Despite blustery weather and heavy rain, the XL Catlin End-to-End went ahead with great spirit. In the early deluge, our teams of volunteers and patrons waited anxiously to see if anyone would show up. And they sure did – we estimate that 1,500 people completed the walk despite the downpours! And the community warmth of the End-to-End seemed to double up despite the challenges, delivering on the End-to-End’s credo of Good Cause, Great Fun!”
We thank everyone who turned out, as well as the great support provided by our sponsors XL Catlin, CellOne, and The Royal Gazette as well as our many waterstop sponsors and the hundreds of volunteers who stood in the rain for hours to ensure our participants hop, skip, and splashed safely across Bermuda.
