The AXA End-t0-End attracts crowds of participants strolling, rolling and splashing their way the length of Bermuda for fun and charity. Here’s some logistical info for the 2019 event.
Participants must sign up in advance; there is no onsite registration on event day. Advance registration will be held at the Washington Mall from April 29-May 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
For Walkers:
End-to-End (ETE), 40km/24.1miles starts at 7 am at King’s Square, St.George
Middle-to-End (MTE), 24km/14.7miles starts at 10 am at Albuoy’s Point, Hamilton
Fun Walk, 5km/3miles starts at 2 pm at Beacon Hill (the old bus terminus next to Somerset Police Station and the Railway Trail). Free rides from Dockyard back to parking starting at 4 pm provided by Project Action.
For Bicyclists:
End-to-End-to-End “Elite” cyclists, 7 am start at Dockyard
ETE cyclists, 9 am start at King’s Square, St.George
MTE cyclists, 8:30 am start from the Botanical Gardens in Paget (South Shore gate)
Fun cyclists, 5km/3miles starts at 2 pm at Beacon Hill (the old bus terminus next to Somerset Police Station and the Railway Trail).
Helmets are mandatory!
For Elite Swimmers:
Swimmers meet at Mangrove Bay at 10:30 am for an 11 am start, ending at Snorkel Park in Dockyard. Swimming is organised by the Bermuda Masters Swimming Association and is dependent on good weather conditions. The distance is 5km/3miles.
For Rowers:
Start at 8:30 am at White’s Island. This segment is being organized through The Bermuda Rowing Association. Please visit their website or contact them directly for additional details.
For Paddle Boarders:
Start at 8:30 am with location to be determined by weather. This segment is being organized through Island Winds. Please see their Facebook group for additional details. As this event follows international SUP standards, everyone entering the paddle boarding event must use a safety ankle or calf leash; buoyancy vests are not required but are encouraged.
For Pilot Gig Rowers:
Start at 7 am in St.George. This segment is being organized through the Bermuda Pilot Gig Rowing Association. Please see their Facebook group for additional details.

Transportation:
From Hamilton, please refer to regular bus schedule.
A special ferry will be available from Hamilton to St.George (leaving at 7:30 am) for $5 and bicycles are permitted for $15. Spaces are limited and you must request a ticket for the ferry at registration. Only ticket holders will be allowed on the ferry.
Ferries between Dockyard and Hamilton will be free on event day for participants with an event number. Capacity of ferries: 350 persons. Ferry departure times from Dockyard will be determined as the event draws closer.
At the Finish:
All sub-events end at the Royal Naval Dockyard on the Lawn, Snorkel Park or in the Canber. Sweeper vans will be provided by Open Airways to assist last-arriving participants with transportation to Dockyard.
