Funds raised in the 2017 End-to-End will, in part, support the Age Concern which seeks to enhance the quality of life and promote the rights and responsibilities of older adults in Bermuda.
Age Concern, with a membership of approximately 3500 persons over the age of 50 years old, provides advocacy, information and support for seniors to age successfully. Successful ageing incorporates the importance of older adults maintaining physical health, financial security, productivity and employment, independence and continued involvement with people and activities that bring meaning and support to their lives.
Other ETE 2017 charities include Adult Education School, Greenrock, and Raleigh. In addition, participants will be able to vote for a special “people’s choice” recipient for E2E funding (choosing between Bermuda Society for the Blind, Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and YouthNet).
